offerings for osiris
the offerings. for the god osiris and the goddess isis. gifts for the deities reigning over death and rebirth and the transformations in between, that rich tides flood fields once fallow and bring abundance. objects for the containment of all things precious and desired in the now and in the next. for the fresh and the dried and fermented and aged. for honey, and milk, and cereal, and herbs, and wine and flowers and bread and cake and kimchi. for the things we want to keep. take with us. hold near. have later.
all urns, bowls, and bottles are hand-thrown, vitrified porcelain with a clear interior glaze and a raw exterior surface. no two objects are alike. there is symmetry but no perfection. balance but no exactness. subtle differences make for exciting pairings.
